Reinforcing feedback loops accelerate in a direction.

An increase in stock creates even more push toward increase, while a decrease in stock may accelerate decrease. A reinforcing feedback loop is necessarily constrained by a balancing feedback loop as nothing can escalate indefinitely. As an exponentially changing part of a system, it’s a fairly powerful point of leverage.rM3
