Ongoing research about remote work has shown that the shift toward remote work had no impact on productivity. Conversely, return to office (RTO) mandates have not improved company performance and either do not improve or do harm to productivity. RTO harms employee satisfaction. Studies suggest a correlation between CEO power and belief that RTO is necessary.rZ2
