Self-sealing logic forms a bubble of reality which distorts information to fit.

When information attempts to enter but is inconsistent with the bubble, it is warped to allow it to be integrated, leaving out details about true reality during the revision. Particularly ill-suited information may get rejected entirely—often without even noticing the filtration. The longer a bubble has been operating, the further from reality it’ll be.
