Validate theories directly, or through contrast with other viewpoints.
Theories explaining other people’s behavior may do a good job predicting future behavior, but this does not make them true and requires direct validation. Theories about people are essentially unfalsifiable, at least without talking to them. True of people, and other systems that defy falsifiability. Incomprehensible behaviors have logical explanations in their contexts. Thus, evaluating multiple points of view is the best way to navigate toward what is factually true in reality.[^G1]
