Double loop learning is a process for testing new approaches.

  1. Acknowledge that current bubble of belief exists and is flawed.
  2. Figure out what beliefs are driving behaviors in need of change.
  3. Are the desired results occurring? If not:
  4. Explore many alternative beliefs. Get new experiences, exposure to ideas. Try on some appealing new beliefs by living as if they are a part of the rest of the belief hierarchy.
  5. Check if the situation has improved. Start again if not.
