Data types in statistics.

Qualitative data.

Also known as categorical data, qualitative data cannot be measured numerically because it is not discrete. There’s no clear and repeatable space between each of its values.rT2

Quantitative data.

Numerical data is discrete and has a clear definition of how its units are measured.rT2
