McKinsey presentation framework.
Introduction slide covers situation (current state), complication (needed change), and question (how to address complication). This should draw in the audience. The next slide provides the answer/conclusion. The remainder of the deck supports this conclusion by breaking down its 3–5 arguments into data and figures. Each argument has a dedicated slide. No redundant information. Non-critical information can go into an appendix.
Slide titles are all that some readers will pay attention to, so they should convey what’s necessary. The title should present the takeaway, provide the main argument, or answers why the audience should care.rP3
