Reinterpret by comparing to more serious event; minimize by establishing a thing as a normal experience; view the event from another’s perspective. This is an inexpensive way to remove the negative reactions of the body to negative emotion. Humor is similar and even cheaper. Important for recovering from the downsides of a lack of predictability.rR1 Understanding others’ values helps. Box breathing makes space to check the internal narrative. Complaints can be reframed to action. Limiting beliefs can be reframed.
